+ Will my yarn order come from the same dye lot?

I try to fill all orders with the same dye lot/batch.

+ How do I request a custom order of yarn?

Dream big! We are happy to work with you on custom orders. You can place an order for that special something. Send a detailed email to mablescables@yahoo.com. It usually takes longer for custom orders…but I’ll keep you posted.

+ Does Mabel’s Cables have a retail store?

We do not have a store to visit. Please look around the website… it will be updated with new colorways and Collections…some sale items too!

+ How do I care for the yarn and finished project?

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry, this prolongs the life of your finished project. The yarn is rinsed after dyeing to remove any excess dye, but there may be some slight bleeding the first time you wash your yarn. Please wash your finished projects by themselves for the first few times. Please keep in mind that colors may look slightly different on each screen, but I try to accurately show the colorway.

Ordering and Shipping

 

+ When will my order ship?

Our current processing time is 3–4 business days before an order is packed and shipped. We do our best to ship within this timeframe, but please feel free to call if you need faster shipping options. We will email a shipping notification once your order ships with any available tracking information. Custom orders and additional quantities do take time to create. Allow 1-2 weeks to complete the process.

+ What are my payment options?

We accept all major credit cards—Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. For checks or money orders, please mail them with a list of what you would like to purchase including quantities and prices, and remember to include shipping costs, which can be calculated using our shipping charts. Note that money orders and check orders are held two weeks for bank clearance.

We also accept PayPal for online orders. We cannot accept PayPal for phone orders though. PayPal overrides any Shipping Address that a customer enters on our Addresses page during Checkout that is different from what PayPal has on file. All listed prices are in U.S. Dollars.

+ Am I notified when you receive my order?

When you place an order through the website, you should receive an email confirming the order. If you did not receive a confirmation email, you can contact me to verify that we received your order. Phone orders do not generate confirmation emails or shipping notifications.

+ How do I find out if my order has been shipped?

If you placed your order on the website, you will receive an email with your package's tracking number when your order has been shipped. If you placed your order on the phone or in our retail store, contact Mabel’s Cables for your order status.

+ Can I add an item to an order already placed?

We are able to change an order before it starts processing. To change your order, contact me with your order information and the change you would like to make.
